What happens it I make a claim?
Insurance4Therapists will help you through the claims process and work with you to get a settlement from the insurer.
With our in-depth knowledge of the policy cover and our strong relationships with the insurer, we’re well placed to ensure that you and your business get back to normal as quickly as possible.
What is professional indemnity (or treatment) insurance?
There’s always a risk that someone could accuse you of making a mistake in your work. If they take you to court claiming that you caused them injury, our Professional Treatment cover will pay for you to defend or settle a court case saving you money and minimising disruption to your business.
What is public liability insurance?
There is always a risk that a member of the public could experience injury or damage to their property through your business. Should such an event occur, public liability (PL) insurance could help with the costs of defending or settling a court case.
Do I need both covers - PI & PL?
Professional Indemnity is the main cover included by default.
You can add Public Liability to your policy but this is optional.
My therapy is not on the list, what do I do?
If you're profession isn't on the list, that doesn't me we can't provide cover. When applying for a quote simply click add more therapies and put the therapy you wish to cover in a text box below.
How do I make a claim?
